Meet – Dr. Grace Ogwo, at age 27, she obtained a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Kwazulu-Natal.
The Nigerian born remarkable mathematician holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike where she graduated with a first class honors degree in 2016.
In August 2017, she was awarded a Mastercard Scholarship under the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) to study a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Cape Town.
In February 2019, she obtained fee remission from the University of Kwazulu-Natal to study for a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics and she graduated with a summa cum laude.
In May 2023, she graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Kwazulu-Natal.
Dr. Grace Ogwo is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is also a Mathematics Tutor who helps students have a clear understanding of the subject mathematics.
