Dr. Angela Tabiri

Dr. Angela Tabiri is a remarkable Mathematician, Science Communicator, Public Speaker and Founder of Femafricmaths, a non-governmental organization that aims at promoting female African mathematicians.

In June 2019, she obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow.

She also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Science, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Ghana and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematics from the International Centre for Theoretical Physics.

Dr. Angela Tabiri is a Research Associate and Academic Manager (Girls in Mathematical Sciences Program) at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Accra, Ghana. 

She is an inspiration to young women especially young girls in Africa who either want to or are pursuing courses that would eventually lead to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
