Dr. Hope Muronga is a remarkable Development Economist by training, and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Southern Illinois University, USA.
She was the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright international scholarship and distinguished as the youngest PhD graduate in her cohort.
She obtained a Master of Commerce (MCom) in Economics with distinction, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom Honours) in Economics with distinction and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Economics with distinction from the University of Pretoria.
Dr. Hope Muronga is passionate about inclusive and sustainable development. Her research and practical experience focus on structural policies aimed at addressing challenges related to education, safety, poverty, and inequality.
She has collaborated with notable institutions, including the World Bank, among others, and has received honors and recognition from prestigious institutions, including the South African Reserve Bank and the United States Department of State.
